Church in the Park

Join us for a relaxing afternoon at Church in the Park on May 24 from 3–5pm at Heritage Park in Flower Mound! This will be a casual time to connect, laugh, and enjoy community together in a beautiful outdoor setting. Our deacons will be grilling, and we’re inviting everyone to bring their favorite tailgate-style side to enjoy alongside it. Whether you’re part of our church family or just looking for a place to belong, everyone is welcome—bring a friend, bring your family, and come hang out with us. And for students, the fun doesn’t stop there—after the event, our student ministry will be heading to the Flower Mound Community Activity Center (CAC) waterpark for even more fun together!

When - May 24, 3pm / Dinner at 5
Where - we will use the Pavilion as our main area and serve dinner from there. 
Who - everyone, bring a friend
To do - sit, talk, play yard games, enjoy the day
To bring - chairs, yard games, shade
Food - The deacons will grill and provide plain burgers and plain hot dogs; you bring anything else to go along with that. Many of the Small Groups will loosely coordinate this: shared condiments, drinks, chips, and desserts. 
Schedule - We will all hang out from 3-5 when dinner will be served. Students will eat with everyone from 5-6 and then go over to the waterpark that has been reserved just for them.
Parking - there is plenty of parking within the park. The CAC also has parking available as well with trails that connect over to the pavilion. 
Shade - shade is limited and shade tents are allowed. However, we are not permitted to stake down the tents so bring anchors if you want to ensure your shade does not fly away.
